Education Personnel, one of the leading education recruitment agencies in the East Midlands, is seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Nottingham. This part-time role is for three days per week, running from February half-term until the end of the academic year.

About the role

• Deliver engaging lessons as an English Teacher across Key Stages 3 and 4, including GCSE preparation
• Plan, assess, and adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils as an English Teacher
• Support small groups and individual interventions under the guidance of the department as an English Teacher
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a strong, cohesive curriculum as an English Teacher
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment as a committed English Teacher

The successful candidate will

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Be confident teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4, including GCSE, as an English Teacher
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management, subject knowledge, and reliability
• Be enthusiastic and committed to working three days per week from February half-term until the end of the academic year
